Broad-leaved lime and small-leaved lime (also called linden) grow all over Slovenia. Linden honey is produced from nectar or honeydew, so it can exhibit properties of both flower and honeydew honeys. It is light yellow to pale amber with a greenish tint, and it has a pleasant aroma of freshness, menthol, and linden blossoms.
